Hall Landscaping is a small business. A position with us varies each day. Our sites and scenery are different every day and the requirements for a job with us do the same. Hall Landscaping's owner is a working boss. He is on the sites every day giving direction and knowledge to make things flow smoothly and get a good outcome. Every position needs to be able to do it all because some days, you do have to do it all. An employee should be able to jump in wherever they are needed.
Hall Landscaping has machines ranging in size from a 35G to a 160. An equipment operator should be proficient in operating any of the machines, basic maintenance, and maintaining safe job sites.
Proficiency includes transporting equipment, understanding subsurface needs (drainage, site work, road creation, grading, and more), and performing labor on the ground as needed.
A Class A license is preferred.
Hall Landscaping performs high-end dry-lay stone work. A stone mason must be creative, able to take direction (written and verbal), and understand proper subsurface and structural building practices.
Work includes stone steps, patios, retaining and aesthetic walls, dry stream beds, and sea walls.
This is a physically intensive and artistic role.
This role varies day-to-day: spring/fall cleanups, ground work alongside operators, tending stone masons, delivering materials, and assisting with equipment.
Basic equipment maintenance knowledge is helpful but not required. Laborers will learn to use machines for loading/unloading and may assist with gardening tasks like pruning.
A Class A license is useful but not required.
